CEDI is a national nonprofit organization registered in 2016 with the NGO Coordination Board in Kenya. CEDI has four programs, Livelihoods, Education, Enterprise Development and Environmental Protection, and is currently active in 4 regions of Kenya; Nairobi, Nyanza, Western and Coast. Our programs primarily target children, women and the youth. CEDI’s mission is to build successful community-based units in Kenya that effectively contribute to the development of sustainable livelihoods. We have our sights set on alleviating poverty among marginalized communities in Kenya. We seek to address extreme poverty through education, social protection and safety nets, innovation, and enterprise development.
