Who We Are

CEDI is a  not-for-profit organization based in Nairobi, Kenya. It was founded in the year 2014 and registered under the NGOs Coordination Board in 2016  We have our sights set on alleviating poverty among marginalized and underprivileged  communities in Kenya, a goal we seek to achieve by driving innovation and enterprise development. Our target groups mainly comprise of marginalized and underprivileged children, youth and women. Throughout our program activities, we endeavor to uphold the ideals of human dignity, equity, fairness, integrity and respect for the rule of law.

We work to build successful women- and youth-led enterprises in Kenya that effectively contribute to development and sustainable livelihoods.

Our Vision

We envision a more equitable society in which all youth and women in historically marginalized areas effectively engage in development through business enterprises that naturally leverage on innovation and technology.
